CPR for Intuition might LOOK like...

Hallo!!

How are you?

Really.

Take a moment.

It’s such a gift to pause because, so often, for so many, the pace is too much. Too fast. Too something!

Take a breath. Or two or three. Nice and deep.

Okay great! Here we go.

The window of knowing we’ll be exploring is intuition.

Intuitive knowing---this window is awful smudgy in western circles.

So---

A little ditty to get the juices flowing and perhaps a smile on your face!

CPR for my intuition might look like…

A knowing without proof.

More like poof!

Hand on heart

Tip Tap

Pat Pat

Hand on belly

Rub a Dub

Shhhh.

Listen.

The spaces in between

The beat.

Down to the feet.

It’s in the sounds of wind

It’s carried in the songs of trees

It might even arrive

Through your knees.

Take a slow breath.

Again.

What way do I go?

How do I know?

Listen in. And all around.

Not to voice, more to sound.

Hiss. Bang.

The window slides

There is a rush

And a rise

Knowing slithers

Knowing sprouts.

Intuitive Knowing begins to shout.

And so you go.----

We are mammalian primates.

We have animal bodies.

We carry intuition and instinct.

It’s part and parcel knowing.

Essential, perhaps, more than ever now.

And guess what?

Even Albert Einstein valued intuition!

Deeply it sounds like.

Here is a little quote attributed to him.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift

and the rational mind is a faithful servant.

We have a society that honors the servant

and has forgotten the gift.”

—Albert Einstein

Read it out loud this time.

How is it landing? And lingering.

What images stand out?

What questions rise?

What's the felt sense of the quote in your body?

Take 5-8 minutes to explore intuition using these prompts:

How has the rational mind usurped my intuition?

CPR for my intuition might look like…

Intuitive knowing is a gift when…

Remember the guidelines:

Write as fast as you can. Keep pen to paper.

Repeat a prompt whenever you start to engage your analytical or critical mind. As many times as needed.

We are accessing the unconscious/subconscious.

Don’t censor yourself. This is the so important!

You can try writing with your non-dominant hand, if you can read it.

Play. Wonder. Enjoy the process.

Let this wondering about intuitive knowing live in the background of your week. See what comes for you!

And---

I am rereading Clarissa Pinkola Estes' book Women Who Run With The Wolves and there are a lot of beautiful reminders and honoring of the intuitive and instinctive ways of knowing. This book can be valuable for any gender as we all have a feminine side!

If you found this helpful, or heartful, pass this newsletter along to a friend and invite them to explore with you!

Blessings on our intuitive bodies!
