Liberating Well-Being

I’ve been reading Anam Cara by John O’Donohue each morning. Snippets of my desert island book. He has a chapter about the senses that I adore.

How do you behold the world?

That is a life changing question to be asking ourselves right now.

Am I seeing through fear? Or Love?

Through resentment? Judgment?

Curiosity? Anger?

Gratitude? Generosity? Greed?

Consider how you are beholding the world. What’s been most familiar these days? How is that affecting your well-being? Your loved one?

For a minute. Or an hour. Pay attention today. Jot some notes. Breathe. Forgive or rejoice in the way you are seeing.

And if needed, wander over into a lens that is life-giving. For you and the world. We can all do this!

And one of the notions I love, about coming back to the senses, is they plop me down right into the present moment.

Touch, vision, scent, sound, and taste.

I can do it. I can arrive in a moment. Like this morning. The sweet, tart, moist, crunchy honeycrisp apple I bit into. The fresh clean fruity scent of it. The feel of it’s smooth tidy skin in my hands. The sound my teeth made as they bit into it, the juice running down my chin.

Or, last night. Overcome with a wave of grief. Letting my body have it. Listening to my sobs. Feeling the tears rolling over my cheeks, wrapping myself in a blanket. Breathing.

In these times of physical distancing I keep coming back.

To all I’ve learned over my years on this planet.

And what I have to offer the world at this particular time.

And this is it. In a nutshell!

A nine session program to Liberate Well-Being. In you.

Why would it be helpful to liberate well-being now?

Because it will help you tend and befriend your fear, anxiety and worry.
Because it will free you up to integrate all kinds of delight, wonder, realness, creativity and presence. To warmheartedly touch grief and welcome darkness as a friend. Liberating you to be who you came here to be. In this time. A gentle stripping and gathering.

And who yearns to be more connected to their soul?

As we watch nature heal during this pause, we too can open to more.
This if for anyone who wants a glimpse of wholeness. Who recognizes that the more than human world has a part to play. Who is drawn to the invisible. And the unknown. Who wants to scribble outside the lines and swirl and spin with abandon. It’s not about changing but embracing all your parts. To do it together. The soul likes solitude and company.

Liberating Well-Being brings together much of what I have culled and winnowed, explored and embodied.

I have explored  so many beautiful practices. My insatiable curiosity to know what can’t be known, to bring the invisible to light, to touch the deep well of hearts and soul, to bring celebration and the sacred into the everyday. To move toward wholeness in a broken world--and now at a broken time---

  • You have the possibility to break open, to plunge in. To inject a freedom into your bones. So you know it in all the hollow places.

And we'll practice how to come home to well-being in the midst of unwellness. Or when you lose your way.

Curious about it? This program can be done in community (small group) or the two of us, alone together.

I am offering a taste of this program. For free.
